Adi & James said “I do” at the breathtaking Vrede & Lust in the Cape Winelands, surrounded by rolling vineyards and the majestic Simonsberg mountains as their backdrop. Their February 2025 celebration was a masterclass in romantic, garden-inspired elegance — soft draped arches, a table setting bathed in golden afternoon light, and a couple who radiated warmth and ease throughout the day. From their intimate vows beneath a flowing fabric arch to a reception that drifted seamlessly from ceremony into celebration under the stars, every detail came together in a day as unforgettable as the love story it celebrated.

The design concept for Adi & James drew inspiration from a soft, painterly palette — dusty blues, blush pink, and lilac hydrangeas mingled with trailing amaranthus and garden roses to create lush, oversized florals with an heirloom, almost watercolour feel. Sage green and dusty blue linens grounded the tablescape, paired with hand-illustrated botanical stationery and warm brass candlesticks for a sense of understated romance. String lights and petal-shaped lampshades added a whimsical, fairy-tale glow as the evening unfolded, while the neutral, textural furniture and soft ivory tones let the mountain backdrop and golden Cape light take centre stage.
