Urban city celebration

Alexis & Grayson chose the city scape to create the ideal atmosphere for their wedding day. They were not your traditional bride & groom & a celebration in the city is what they were after.
The look & feel was an art deco inspired combination of old & new elements which was used in a fresh and modern setting to set the mood.
The ceremony was held at The Young Blood Art Gallery on Bree street and the reception was on the rooftop of the Bree Street Studios.
The ceremony was held at the Youngblood Art Gallery in Bree Street and the couples favourite art was selected to hang around the venue, as well as an amazing Red Riding Hood installation where guests were served champagne following the ceremony.
The New York style rooftop reception followed, which provided the perfect backdrop of Table Mountain and the city. Instead of a formal sit down dinner, they opted for a cocktail style set-up with canapes, food stations and a soft serve machine where the guests could help themselves to the couples favourite foods all night long.
A minimalist decor style was carried throughout so that nothing distracted you from the beautiful city.
For the reception we teamed high gloss white tables with marble, gold, brass and metal elements, and opted for a combination of white flowers, succulents, greenery and pops of pink amaranthus.
Having a rooftop wedding, they had to prepare for the worst. The ladies were gifted with pashminas to keep them warm outside.
This wedding day was a true celebration from the start and everyone took to the dancefloor for the rest of the night, The party was wild and the city was alive.
